If you do not have the manual, contact Elo. ----------------------------------------------------------------- CHANGES FROM VERSION 1.0a ----------------------------------------------------------------- SETUP.EXE - An automated setup program was added that copies required files and configures Windows NT for an Elo touchscreen. The Touchscreen Setup Wizard was added to configure the touchscreen controller during setup. MONMOUSE.SYS - A correction was made to correct conflicts with serial controllers and Plug and Play BIOS that could cause the touchscreen to not function. MONMOUSE.SYS - Corrected a problem that sometimes caused the X and Y touchscreen coordinates to be reversed when the touchscreen is rotated 90 degrees or has reversed cables. MONMOUSE.SYS - In Windows NT 4.0, Microsoft changed the method used to determine available system resources when running on multiple-processor capable systems. The driver was modifed to support this change. MONMOUSE.SYS - When configured for a 4035 touchscreen controller the driver will now delay loading until no touch is sensed for a period of 5 seconds. This delay corrects a problem that would cause the touchscreen to be disabled once Windows NT fully loaded. MONMOUSE.CPL - A Setup button was added to the Control Panel program to provide control of the touchscreen controller configuration and the language used in the touchscreen Control Panel. Supported languages are English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish. MONMOUSE.CPL - The Info box now displays the driver version and additional touchscreen controller information. MONMOUSE.HLP - The help file was updated to include information on the new features of the touchscreen Control Panel. --------------------------------------------------------------- INSTRUCTIONS FOR WINDOWS NT AUTO BOOT --------------------------------------------------------------- Windows NT normally displays the system logon dialog when started. Use the following procedure to disable the display of the logon dialog and automatically startup without user intervention. 1. Run REGEDT32.EXE. 2. Locate the Registry subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon. 3. Establish your domain name, account name, and password (more than likely you will already have the keys "DefaultDomain" and "DefaultUserName" and will want to add a password to that account--"DefaultPassword") using the values you normally type when logging on. 4. To add a "DefaultPassword" value, from the Edit menu choose Add Value. In the Value name field, type: "DefaultPassword" (without quotation marks). Select REG_SZ for the Data type. In the String field, type your password. Save your changes. 5. From the Edit menu, choose Add Value. Enter "AutoAdminLogon" (without quotation marks) in the Value Name field. Select REG_SZ for the Data type. Enter 1 in the String field. Save your changes. 6. Exit REGEDT32. 7. Reboot your computer. You should logon automatically. --------------------------------------------------------------- HOW TO REACH ELO --------------------------------------------------------------- Elo TouchSystems, Inc.
