Interface Scale

public interface Scale

This interface provides methods by which an application can interact with the Weigh Scale present in a Elo View device. This feature is not currently supported. A weigh scale may be controlled directly via an FTDi interface.

void	setUnits(UnitType unitType) Configure whether the return weight should be in US Units or METRIC Units
void	zeroWeight() Set the current weight on the scale as ZERO

Method Detail

setEnabled

void setEnabled(boolean enabled)

Enable or disable the Weigh Scale attached to Elo Device

Parameters:

enabled - true to enable, false to disable

getWeight

float getWeight()

Retrieve the weight of the item placed on the Weigh Scale

Returns:

weight given by the scale

zeroWeight

void zeroWeight()

Set the current weight on the scale as ZERO

setUnits

void setUnits(UnitType unitType)

Configure whether the return weight should be in US Units or METRIC Units

Parameters:

unitType - US or Metric units

setText

void setText(java.lang.String text)

Set the text on the Weigh Scale Display

text - text to set
